@GKDSoldierIf you start a warmed up engine, it doesn't use as much fuel as a cold started engine.. Thats where that misconception comes from.. If our engines warmed up, it doesn't take much fuel at all to get it back up and rollin vs idoling for 5-10 minutes like you stated..

@GKDSoldier Where on the video do you see me shutting the vehicle off? the truck was in neutral at an idol.. Also, you actually don't use as much fuel as you think if you killed it at a light and start it when green vs letting it idol.. I have a fuel metering devise that shows gallons per hour and you do save on fuel when killing it at a stop light, but only if its one of those 8 lane hige intersections where you sit for about a minute and a half or more..

@DdgeShelby sorry man but ur wrong about the shuttin the car off vs. leave it runnin when a car truck what ever starts its is at wide open throttle to start so u use more gas if u shut it off then if u would leave it runnin for 5 10 min whatever

I do that every once and awhile when driving.. i've noticed a decrease in my fuel consumption. it works. driving smooth isn't stupid, it makes your car last longer.

@hitachi088 I agree..

Saving gas by driving slower or smoother is not stupid or gay , it is saving money and increasing the life of your car ...

@hitachi088 I've alwaysdone that since I started driving, it just didn't have a fancy term or following.. I'm no tree hugging hippie or anything.. this is in a Toyota truck.. not a Prius LOL
