It's amazing how complex the computer graphics are for the time, and the bionic limbs look 100% real during the operation sequence. They really don't make them like this anymore. Truly great TV!!

Man,When I was a kid,I couldn't wait for Sunday night to see what Steve Austin was doing next.I loved the episode when Larry Csonka was on it.What a great show!!

Do not lose heart, this can be made into one of the biggest motion pictures ever. With todays CGI Hollywood is more than capable of making this classic. They did try remember? NBC's The bionic woman? The only two reasons it bombed were it was made for tv, and, the writing sucked. If they put half as much care into the writing as they did in the batman films. This would be a hit! And it must be a film, NO TV! Just a 40+ kid who loves his past.

This has got to be one of the most freaking wicked openings of all time. Am I getting older and it's just me, or do they make shows as good as they used to? Because that time period ROCKED for tv.

@peteq1972 Schzarzenegger was supposed to do this years ago.

That guy only costed 6 million dollars then. Now probably it could cost more if you sell him in Ebay for auction.
